Description
A handmade brooch depicting the official flower of the Western Cape, Disa Uniflora Bergius, also known as The Pride of Table Mountain. The three distinct petals are in 18k red gold to reflect the colour of this indigenous orchid, while the pistel (with stigma and ovary) in white gold and the stamen in red gold, complete this anatomically correct design. A fine example of the goldsmith’s art and a unique item from the Cape.
